Mac OS User Tabbing
For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:
Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.
Additional settings for Safari Browser.
Open Safari Preferences:
Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I'm happy to be returning to Carl A. Furr Elementary and Harold E. Winkler Middle schools this year! This is my fifth year as a school psychologist. I graduated from Appalachian State with my undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and English. I attended Winthrop University for my Masters and Specialist degrees in School Psychology! I also completed a Masters in Cognitive and Neuropsychology from University of Kent in Canterbury, England. While the role of a school psychologist is extremely diverse, my favorite areas include assessments, data analysis, and MTSS. Additionally, I enjoy learning about and evaluating for Autism Spectrum Disorders, dyslexia, and traumatic brain injury. In my free time I like to play with my dog, Fitzgerald, spend time with my family, read, paint, and explore Charlotte with my friends!
