We hope you and your family have been enjoying a fun and restful summer! As we gear up for the start of the school year on Monday, August 11th, please take a few moments to carefully review the important information below to ensure a smooth and successful return. Together, as One Team, we’re ready to make this year our best yet!

Open House - All families are invited to our Open House on Thursday, August 7th from 5:00–7:00 PM. This is a drop-in event, so feel free to stop by any time during that window. Students in grades 1-5 will receive a message from your child’s teacher via ParentSquare by noon on August 7th.

Free Reduced Lunch - We encourage all families to apply for Free and Reduced Lunch, linked here. The application only takes a few minutes, and many families qualify who didn’t expect to. Completing this before school starts is one less thing to worry about during those busy first days.

Supply Lists - Supply lists for all grade levels can be found here. If you need assistance with supplies, please speak with someone from Student Services during Open House. Also, don’t forget to label your child’s book bag and lunch box with their name.

Car Rider Tags - All students will receive their car rider tags at Open House. One set of tags (two copies) will be provided per household, and additional copies can be requested if needed. Tags must be displayed every day for a safe and efficient dismissal process. If you’re new to car rider dismissal, please review the traffic pattern linked here.

Transportation Changes - If your child’s transportation plan changes during the school year, please send a written note in their gold folder and ensure your child is aware of the change. Phone calls for changes should be reserved for emergencies only.

Background Check - If you plan to volunteer in your child’s class this year, please complete the volunteer background check linked here this summer. The background check is valid for two years.

Visitors - All school visitors must bring a valid photo ID.

We hold off on lunch visits at the start of the year to give students time to learn lunchroom routines. Parents may only eat lunch with their own child, and friends may not join.
